ModCloth || Uniquely You

Hello! 

Recently I was asked to participate in ModCloth's "Uniquely You" campaign.  They have such cute things on their site.  Above are just a few things I've put together to go with their Dinner Party Darling Dress. Every girl needs a Little Black Dress right? 

When searching for things that I though would go great with this dress on Wanelo I instantly thought: pearls and red! I'm actually not sure how I came to think of that... but I did! I especially LOVE the Let's Bead Together headband.  Paired with a nice updo or simply your hair pulled back -- it would look awesome.  I found two bracelets that I thought were amazing so I put both in! Of course if you chose the Give it a Pearl Bracelet you can always wear the So to Speech earrings with it. If I could wear a red lip everyday and not look so overdressed, considering I live in yogas and sweats majority of the day, I totally would.  Waking up 20 min before a class doesn't give me a whole lot of time to look "cute".  BUT with this outfit I would TOTALLY sport a red lip.  

Look at my Wanelo board too see some other things I found from ModCloth that I am now adding to my "must have" list.  Especially an elephant tank top! If you don't know me than you must know I am overly obsessed with elephants and my heart instantly melt with anything that has to do with an elephant.

Just as the week was bringing perfect spring weather, today had to be cloudy and a chance of rain today all day. I don't mind though because I got to spend it with my friend Sara.  She didn't let me take many pictures of her but next time!! A perfect ending to the day was a coffee date at local bakery in Providence.  Also I needed another cappuccino because the first one I had wasn't waking me up.  Truly in a solid relationship with caffeine.

Formal Season

Formal season is just around the corner! This will be my first formal (obviously - I'm a freshman)! In my mind I equivocate it to high school prom and the thing I like the most about prom are the dresses! Everyone gets all prettied up and puts on beautiful gowns.  While on Pintrest I was looking at hairstyles that I may want to try out.  Personally, I love up-dos on people but we all know it sort of depends on the dress.  My "go to" look would be a lose up do with hair that frames your face.  If I don't do an up-do I love the classic half up - half down look! Today was a beautiful day!!! For the past few weeks it's been wicked cold to the point it was almost biting your skin.  Is that possible? It's been horrible.  It was almost 60 and it hasn't been like this in forever! So many dogs were at the beach today.  SO MANY! I loved watching all of the dogs interact with one another.  It was so cute - as you can tell i'm a dog person.  Don't forget to put your clock forward!!
